yeah, everything else I will serve on Thanksgiving will be from the farmers market, all organic, all whole food blah blah blah. The dressing? Pepperidge Farm. Even with all the crap that is in it (high fructose corn syrup anyone?) It kills me, but the taste of this is Thanksgiving to me. And this is the only time I eat it...so there you have it. Quince are in the farmers markets in NYC, empresscallipygos. I'm guessing you could find some at the brooklyn flea. I love to roast them with garlic and potatoes. Means fall to me. I also put them in pies and anything else where I put apples. On the Savory Side: 5 Quince Recipes |
