I have the exact same ones in addition to the hundreds of crystal and glass icicles I have been collecting over the years. I love how my tree looks with just silver and glass on it!

I actually did this one year and it really works! My closet was cleaned out after the year, and I was left with my "real" wardrobe.

Quince are in the farmers markets in NYC, empresscallipygos. I'm guessing you could find some at the brooklyn flea. I love to roast them with garlic and potatoes. Means fall to me. I also put them in pies and anything else where I put apples.

this reminds me about how my brother used to claim the piece he wanted. When mom and dad had their backs turned, he would lick it. Thank goodness he has outgrown that behavior, almost.
