Noa, I love your giant balls. Hope that doesn't offend any women. You must be doing something right. No apologies. I love your work. Noa & Stuart's Boho-Chic Bungalow (and Shed Remodel!) House Tour |

I think this is very cool, and we are making plans to make it. I have seen people reuse old pieces of painted barn wood, sand it down, and make some amazing things with it. I love it. What a great garden! I love the simplicity. It really has a cozy feel, and so tidy! I love your sandbox. My two-year-son would love one, I am sure. Very inspiring. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | My Great Outdoors: Valerie's Boat Sandbox Garden |

Iced tea, a really rosy glow in my kitchen because of my wonderful leather-tinted windows, fresh corn. I love to say "fresh," because I am sick of the frozen corn they bring out from the back of the huge grocery stores. I love the smell of fresh donuts from the farmer's market. I love cantaloupe and watermelon, but I have not been pleased with this year's yield thus far. So I guess I am going to have to say iced tea. I don't eat a lot of barbecued chicken, but that smell is simply divine. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | The Taste of Summer: What Says "Summer" to You? |

I grew up on a dairy about an hour west of Boise, Idaho. I loved our summers. I played a lot of catch with my dad when he had a spare moment, had my own three-wheeler (before they were illegal) and road it all day on the days I wasn't at the local pool, caught pollywogs, tried to nurse baby birds and bunnies back to being able to living out in the wild again, playing in the cottonseed stacks, and went to our local drive-in a lot of Friday and Saturday nights. I also remember my mom mowing the grass. She was pretty obsessed with our lawn, but it showed in how lush it was. Nobody had a lawn that you could play in without shoes or socks like we did. I played a lot of softball growing up -- I remember volleyball camps and Girl Scout camp. I have been having some sort of sentimental crisis and have been at used stores looking for things that remind me of my youth -- toys, late-seventies decor, kitchenware, and furniture, old board games. I have had a real hard time looking at pictures though. My dad has been gone for three years now, and I still can't look at pictures. I love it both ways. I think I sort of prefer the beige for the room. It was so calming with how homey it was -- really charming. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Before After: Leah's Light Living Room |

So I just gave this a go. AMAZING! Thank you so much! I had just bought a huge flat of strawberries from Costco, and they always seem to spoil before I ever get to them. I always mean well. I alone have finished half of them in one night. I love how the brown sugar actually adds a nice little crunch if you dip the strawberry in the sugar right before the bite. I had heard about people making it a dip and throwing in the brown sugar before, but this was so good. What a great summer dinner/dessert for tonight. I have a huge teak outdoor dining set with beautiful reclining chairs. I have been trying to utilize it more this summer so I put them on the front porch where there is less sun instead of the back porch where I rarely go to relax because of the blazing sun setting. I love to have my watermelon or fruit bowls outside. I had a marvelous barbecue about a month ago. We had a fresh mozzarella and tomato platter with fresh sweet basil, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil drizzled over. After that we had sirloin hamburgers on whole wheat buns with a side strawberry, red onion, and romaine lettuce salad (homemade dressing, of course). Our first dessert was fresh cut watermelon. After our walk by the river, I brought out the grand finale, homemade angel food cake with maraschino cherries and homemade whipped cream. Apartment Therapy Chicago | How Do You Dine Outdoors? |

Mikeinbrooklyn, I, as well, am on WW. I have lost my last 20 pounds because of that thing. I love my scale. I use it not only for me, but for my 22-month-old son as well. I am having feeding problems with him, and measuring out his food to make sure he is getting enough every day is less of a challenge with a scale. That way, I am not left wondering. I love to buy old children's classroom furniture. My latest scores are a old school chair that looks like it is from the '40s and a children's circular adjustable table like the kind from the early '80s. I love to buy children's books. Apartment Therapy Chicago | A Room Outfitted in Thrift |

I love to buy children's books circa '70s-'80s. I just bought a whole shelf worth for about 4 bucks. A lot of them I remember, and I love that I have found them again and can have them for my little boy to grow up with. It makes me sad when I open up an old library book and I see the word "Discard" stamped in bright red letters. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Best Things to Buy Second-Hand |

I have lived quite nicely without a microwave for my little family and I for about two years. I have a 20-month-old baby, and we never used one for him. I don't think I will ever get one again. Besides, when I had a microwave years ago, I only used it when I was drunk for atomic burritos and reheating pizza. Apartment Therapy Boston | Survey: Where Do You Hide Your Microwave? |

Anyone else weep a little? I did and am not embarrassed to admit it. I thought Carla's speech at the judge's table was the most poignant thing I have heard all season -- no offense to Fabio (wow, I was glad to see him be honest when the judge's asked him whose food he preferred). I am a little sick that Hosea won, though. I have to admit, once I knew Carla was out of the running, I began to like Stephan almost immediately. I don't know, this is the first time Hosea really rubbed me the wrong way. I agree with an earlier poster that it was in bad taste that he didn't recognize Carla for the threat she truly was. I am so glad Gail is back. I loved this episode! Finally a challenge for the season where every dish was great. I mean, pretty much. It was clear who was on the bottom, but there weren't too many complaints about those. Poor Fabio. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Top Chef New York New Orleans: Finale, Part 1 |

Looks like our dutch ollebollen. YUM! The big diff is we throw in apples, raisins, or pineapple in the batter and then fry. My grandpa was a fiend for this stuff. Ollebollen is traditionally made on New Year's Day. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Word of Mouth: Mandazi (Kenyan Doughnuts) |

I am just happy Leah was finally sent home. She was always coming up a dollar short as far as making appetizing meals. I don't think Hosea is really ragging on Stefan all the time. I think he comes off like he really respects Stefan and knows he is the guy to beat because of how talented he is. His being worried about Stefan all the time, to me, comes off as flattery.
