I tried it out at IKEA last week, and I thought it was quite comfy! I had seen it online, and thought that the back cushions might slide when you sit on it, but they feel pretty secure, especially for loose cushions. Also, as Colleen mentioned, the proportions are lovely. You can seat two on it like a loveseat, but it's as small as a large armchair. My only complaint is that I wish that the green version had fun, printed back cushions like the red one does. Overall, I think it's a fabulous option for indoors or out.

It's worth mentioning that it's even cuter in person. :)

I think the slipcovers are gorgeous! However....they're expensive. For the price of the IKEA piece and the Bemz slipcover, it would make more sense to buy a better quality piece, IMO.

Thatgrrl, if she settled with BB&B, nothing was really decided by the court. If she was trying to make them admit that they were breaking the law...she didn't get there. She took the money and ran.

Was a lawsuit really necessary for scratchy sheets? I think a media release would have been sufficient.

I'd sell it, too. For $150 (plus whatever you sell the glass for), you can get an inexpensive but attractive table at a comparable size.

If you do want to keep it, I really like JoeyBrill's suggestion of the bistro table.

This house is so incredibly beautiful that I can't imagine why anyone would vote "not".

This bin from Ikea is similar to the first one posted (it used to come in a plain galvanized steel, too), and it's quite a bit cheaper. If I bought anything bigger than the 5 lb bags of food, I would probably store it in one of these.

Since we only buy small quantities of food (we have a small dog and an extremely small kitchen with no storage), we use the large, squat version of this container which appears to have been discontinued. Bummer, because it's the perfect size for a small bag of food. It sits on our counter.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the strange, floating, inaccessible pillow/blanket nook just above the giant hammock. Odd.

This room looks like it was taken out a Nooni and Nuni sketch from SNL.

I see what you mean, semidivine. I guess that would have been a bit more effort. As it is, I think that there's a ton of wasted space - if they had small shelves right across, which would have been super easy to make, it would be so much more efficient. You could store nearly twice as much stuff in there.

I'm currently doing some "zero-cost" decorating. Through Craigslist, I've been selling old furniture and other items we don't need or want to upgrade, and using the money towards new (to me) furniture and accessories from other sellers. This process has opened my eyes to other items around the house that we don't need and are cluttering our home that we can either sell for cash for things we DO need, or donate to people that need them. It's very cathartic, not to mention budget-friendly!

If you use a draft stopper at the bottom of the door, that would help to some extent. They look like long, fabric sausages.

If you can use nails in your apartment, what about putting a large piece of thick (3" or more) foam in the doorway, and then covering the hole with a thin piece of painted plywood? You can use quarter-round moulding to hold it in place.

what about one of these systems? http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30115113

You can mount it on the ceiling or the wall, and can slide the panels like a barn door. The panels vary in opacity, so you can have something on the sheer side to let light in, or something more opaque for privacy.
