I have the Ikea round-base table and I thought I would love it (I have white tulip chairs and Eames shells that go with it), however, I hate it and regret buying it.

If you have guests over and someone bumps the table, everyone suffers. I thought maybe it was just my wobbly table or floor but other people have said that same thing. It is nice for playing games, but forget playing Jenga on it.

Also, if you like crafts, round tables are awful for sewing or working with larger items (in my experience).

Try painting the legs of that table black. If you ever move into a bigger space, consider putting those chairs on a long table with other chairs (mixing and matching).

My current inspiration, oddly enough, is my own messy house! I've seen how much potential I have in the things I already own, now it's more a matter of weeding out clutter (it draws attention away from truly wonderful items that I love) and giving everything a home.

I also want to get a head start on cleaning but my weekend is filling up so fast! I've done the first few weeks of the cure before but have never followed through to completion. Hopefully this will help!

I liked the Benjamin stools only after I saw them used to hold records. They discontinued them, but when I was by Ikea this past weekend, I noticed that they were restocking it.

The Docksta table was also not being restocked-- but I keep seeing it in the Philly location. I ended up getting a secondhand (scratched) one.

The metal organizer tins (I forget what they are called) from their office section. I love them.

Pittsburgh has a place that seems similar to this one, only it is more for building materials and furniture. They do have smaller items from time to time--- it is hit or miss depending on where you go and what you are looking for. It's called Construction Junction.

It's in the same building as Free Ride, the bike organization that reuses bikes and bike scraps and teaches people how to build bikes for free.
