I like this room, and I agree that it most likely looks a lot more lively with toys and books etc out. It's probably much cleaner than normal for the pictures. Love that bedding!

Fred Meyer's is a store that's only in the Pacific Northwest. They sell groceries, clothes, household items, furniture...kind of like Wal-Mart, but they sell higher quality, brand name things. And they aren't as corporate.

ORANGE for sure! It would be a nice complimentary color to all that blue and add a bunch of color.

I love them and think you should keep them. I really like the unique shaping of the shelves...not something you see every day. I think you should paint them and try to put some fun wallpaper behind them...and lose those curtains!

I never thought of using a toybox as a multi-functional piece of furniture before but this is very well done! Good job!

The first link show so many adorable play kitchens...I especially love the one that shows the kitchen window with a view. Some great ideas. Does anybody know what piece of furniture they used for the main kitchen part?

Some of these are great! Heather has two mommies sounds like a great read. Not only do I remember most of these books, but I've read the majority in school and some of them will change you forever. I think that The Giver was the first very deep book I remember reading.

Even though I thought this room was really pretty, my first thought was that it looked like a strangely happy version of an old fashioned orphanage...

I'm having a hard time imagining that an adult would spend a ridiculous amount of money on one of these backpacks to...do nothing with I guess. I suppose that they'll just end up in the hands of some spoiled little children and that makes me kind of sad. I wish that they weren't so unobtainable. I love almost all of them, but especially the Jessica Alba one.

I love my changing table! It isn't a dresser also, but it is entirely possible to reuse it as storage for something else (toys?) when my little one isn't so little anymore. I don't understand why almost every ohdeedoh reader is so against changing tables! Mine saved my back during many diaper changes. And I really like this changing table...but that picture? It seriously creeped me out for a second before I realized it was just cg
