I keep potatoes and onions in the fridge in the crisper drawer (separately) - is this bad?

I agree with this post if the messy person is your significant other. I too am extremely neat and organized, to the point of OCD! while my other half is the messiest person I've ever encountered.

It took me quite a while to get to this point, but I find that I am so much happier if i just do it and get it over with (which normally takes at most 5 minutes), instead of nag and wait for my husband to do it.

That being said, if it's a housemate, i don't think it's fair to clean up their mess. They can do whatever they want in their room - but should keep the common area tidy.

Tonight is grilled salmon w/ dill, bruschetta, and spicy pasta! Don't know about the rest of the weekend, or dessert yet..

Speaking of flat pillows - Does anyone have recommendations on not very expensive down alternative (husband's allergic to down) pillows? Mine has been giving me a crick in the neck because it feels like cardboard and I'm in the market for some new ones.

Can you tell us where the dishtowels and various trays are all from??

I can't remember a meal in my family where we haven't ended with tea or coffee. It's not even just after a dinner party, it's after dinner period!

I was thinking of using roman shades in my new condo - so this is a great post! I really like that first one.

Are there roman shades made for large (width) windows? One of mine is 48" across and I haven't found any that big.

What's with all of the bath mats hanging on the edge of the tubs?

Where do you find those carpets? Specifically the one in the living room.
