This is such a great summer dish! Feta is key--and I added fresh orange juice instead of honey, but the bit of sweet was excellent! I will add the chile and cumin next time--thanks!

I've found it challenging to find good quality tuna packed in oil at a reasonable price--but I can't eat this salad without it so it's worth the hunt! We like a combo with eggs and tuna, a few slices of beet drizzles in balsamic and fresh pepper, rice and greens with Annie's dressing. I want to make this, more classic version soon!

I love grains, myself, and am trying to cut out most wheat after turning fifty and having some issues with arthritic pain in my fingers. I eat a little meat, but could gladly do without it. That's just me, and it's been weird to start hearing about the paleo, no grains diet since I thought grains were "good for me." I guess it's our culture's mania with control. I suspect moderate eating of whatever you're actually hungry for will do you fine.

Yum. They hold up well in summer salads, with lots of raw crunchy veggies. And they'll give your jaw a bit of a workout!

I've exchanged my fave whole wheat flour tortillas for corn to go gluten free--and while much smaller, they're delicious! We filled them with gooey cheese and eggs scrambled with sweet pickeled jalapenos yesterday. So good!

I don't know why people need to make unpleasant comments--drab, meh, etc. They were nice enough to open up their home. We all have ego, which peeks out in many ways, like putting down others for their ego.

Just read this. I was born in 1963--mom also believed we were supposed to eat liver. She loved to cook, and tried to disguise it with a cream sauce. We hated it and it caused some terrible dinner standoffs--neither my brother nor I ever ate liver again. Then there was the seaweed after she joined the food coop in the '70s. love you, mom

A recent show on Nature talked about the underground network they are discovering that trees have among themselves, channeling nutrients to younger trees, etc. I guess we are Nature, too! Something I believe but don't always live . . .
