The Greenmarket at Columbia isn't half bad. You can also get Farmer Ground Flour there which is great. The Greenmarket page will help you strategize.

You can get hydroponic greens year round. Winter veggies are different. It's a lot of squash, root vegetables and cabbage. And apples--it is NY State after all. It's what people in the NE used to store in their root cellar.
