Based on the outside plants through the kitchen window, the kitchen is clearly located on the ground floor, but it looks like there are stairs going down from the office on the other side of your apartment. Do those stairs take you down to the speak easy or is it a kind of split level?

It does seem bigger than 650sf, but I think part of that is the high ceilings and all the light, plus the bedroom seems pretty small. LOVE the vintage TV.

Visa and Amex gift cards are good for a year before they start dinging you with fees. Frankly, I've never had one last that long :)

There is a big difference between using color and using it in good taste.

You can call me negative, but I don't see anything here that was worth posting (and if Domino ever has a cover that looks like this, I'll skip it and buy something else).

I don't think it was ready for a house tour. (and my opinion has nothing to do with the smallest, coolest contest).

That said, I think there are some great elements here and there's a lot of potential. It just takes time to really pull a home together and cost is a factor for most of us.

Keep at it! (But next time, don't use a fisheye lens to take the photos ;)

I live on the 3rd floor of a building. My cat never went out and I had never had a problem with fleas until after a trip to the vet. It caught me so by surprise that it was a full on infestation before I realized what was happening. My cat would not come down off the stove- the only place he could get away. I never get bit.

I ended up using revolution on my cat (He was 17 and had no problems), but the biggest help was combing him with a flea comb every day. Not only did he love it, but it got any lingering fleas off him and I had less hair around my house. I just had to make sure I had a bowl of water next to me and everytime I combed off a flea, it went into the water - the only place they have no power :)

I used to work with a person who had the smelliest digestive tract ever. I finally realized if you spray the air freshener directly into the toilet bowl, the odor will go away.

I like the before better too. The art above the desk in the before is much better then what is there now. The after is just a little too Oprah-fied for me.

I've heard the same thing about insulated shutters helping with noise.
