I once did large curtains using muslin. It is cheap and lightweight and neutral in color. You could probably do a simple hem without sewing by using hem tape or fuse or whatever it is. Sorry I'm actually not that helpful with the lingo.

I suppose if you are super serious about food or it is your passion and something you love so much you are searching for a partner that is as passionate about it as your are (because having something in common to share together is important) then maybe borderline Mr. Perfect isn't for you.

But to suggest that not appreciating food as much as you do means you can't trust them, is a flaw at all, or a sign of some deeper problem is completely ridiculous.

Perhaps borderline Mr. Perfect wouldn't be as interested in you if he knew you were thinking this about him in this regard or on a quest to change him.

Choosing Raw (http://www.choosingraw.com/) has a good mix of both raw and slightly cooked foods.

I'm 26, my phone if for business as well as personal use, and I still think in most face to face interactions it is extremely rude to be playing around with a cell phone. Even if it's just my roommate and I at a diner for breakfast, I think it's respectful to the person you are with to keep your cell phone away.

I also think it is a little rude to be talking on the phone while ordering coffee at a cafe or checking out at the grocery store.

Obviously there are different situations/circumstances that allow for or require different "rules" as it has become very common place for one's phone to function as a business tool in addition to a personal gadget, but I think the larger point to be made is that people are increasingly using cell phones, smartphones, mobile devices in a manner that discards basic common courtsey.

Wow, people sure do get defensive and/or judgemental when it comes to having or not having kids. Someone doesn't like it if you choose not to have children, another doesn't like it if you have too many; pro adoption; con adoption.

In regards to this specific show, I was actually pleasantly suprised at how great the kids seemed. They appear to be independent, thoughtful, interesting children.

And I also really liked how Courtney and Bob talked about getting their start. Buying an old dilapitated building in an up and coming part of town, doing all the renovations themselves, going into debt, working their way out, etc. And they seem to take it all in a healthy stride.

That picture looks amazing! I often added a bit of cream cheese while whisking the eggs before putting them in the pan. And I add some greated cheese while they are cooking.

I don't think it's bad at all! Maybe I have that opinion because I imagine myself getting married in an actual old barn one day. I say string of white lights, candles, draped fabric up around that stage area will all help the space feel more romantic while not going in a completely different direction than its natural style.

My roommates and I go head to head with a rival apartment about once a month. Nothing formal just wine and games. We rotate between CatchPhrase (best. game. ever), Baulderdash, Carnium or a combo of them. Although we are very competitive and there is often trash talking and end zone dancing, we rarely get through an entire game as our wine consumption/socializing to playing ratio is totally uneven. Always fun and you can do it in sweat pants if you like to be comfortable!

I would look at overstock.com. When I moved into a house with a huge back deck and amazing built in pool (the one thing I miss since moving to nyc) I got lounge chairs, table, umbrella, etc very cheap (like $100 or less each). And added bonus, shipping is only $3.

The George Foreman Grill (and not just the one in that photo) grosses me out. I hate the way meat smells when it's cooking, I hate the accumulation of grease, and I hate the clean up. I will take the extra time to bake or grill (on a real grill) any day.

I am a fan of mixing styles. I think there is always room for something new. And I agree, a matte charcoal would look great.
