Wow, how did Lincoln Antique Mall wind up with a beautiful McCobb? I've been clicking on their Craig's List links for months and finding their inventory awfully dreary. I have a similar piece that was reupholstered in original Knoll fabric, but I bought it--after the work was done--at Broadway Antique Mart. It had been in the window for maybe 2 hours when we snagged it. You probably thought of this, but I'd ask at BAM who their upholsterers are. But Lovely's is slick. I like how this one looks handmade and roughcut. What I can't figure out is: are you meant to write your addresses on top of other writing/graphics?
