Gabriel's Dreamy Space My Room

In our 5 years of marriage, we've lived in 4 places. 3 of those places have been in the same town, all walking distance from each other (decent walks, but walks none the less). The first place, an apartment, we lived in for 3 months. We signed the lease before I was pregnant, and moved in when I was 4 months pregnant. It was a nightmare apartment with nightmare neighbors. And not newborn baby (or any age child) friendly. We moved out as fast as we could and into a cute little house, where we lived for 1.5 years, until I found our current house at a yard sale! I fell in love with the beautiful hardwood floors (we had wall to wall carpet at the time) and big fenced in back yard. We moved in the next month! Our family thought we were crazy. And we might have been. But it was totally worth it!

I love seeing all these spaces! I'm probably more on the less-is-more-side (when there's not an explosion of clothes everywhere).. but I do appreciate more-is-more!

I think this is lovely! It looks so nice and pulled together, without feeling forced or staged. Just a real life, charming home! I love the kid artwork on the large white cork board!

Does anyone know what the large tree/plant is that's in the first picture of the family in their dining room? Sorry if that question has already been asked/answered!

Brags! What DIY Project Are You Most Proud Of?

That's unique! The rough/raw/unfinished-ness of the OSB is actually kinda growing on me. Definitely adds texture! I can picture using the stencils to write a quote on a piece of OSB as cheap, unique art. Is it OK to share a link here? I just posted a free printable for a perpetual calendar. It was just added to craftgawker. Here's the link.. http://ricedesigns.wordpress.com/2013/01/30/perpetual-birthday-calendar-free-printable/
