A magic eraser does work similarly to a pumice stone, but I find it to be quicker and less accidentally damaging to newer man made materials. Love it for my linoleum counter tops and refrigerator door. Wouldn't bother with it for the ring in my toilet.

For the wires, zip tyes are your friend. The open shelving has lots of places to hook to and if you run it down the back of the monitor, right angle turn at the shelf line, over to the leg and then down they wont be invisible but Will Look Much Better. Promise. My partner and I actually do this as part of our business and have worked with setups like this. Plus some cute storage to wrangle the appearance of the storage over head. Maybe something in silver or gray to keep it lite and clean. It's a bit top heavy now and those colors will blend in and match your other accoutrement, thus keeping the heavy look away.
