I love the wallpaper/stencil (?) wall behind the bed, and the soft décor in that area, very dreamy. The whole place has a lovely feel, and you even fit in a bike! Well done.

A very interesting space, and obviously many viewers find it challenging to consider people choose to live with so few possessions. Very counter cultural. If it meets your needs, it is perfect. Well done.

I love the dining room light fitting too. I also love the calm, spacious feel, I think this would be peaceful to live in. Great job!

Wow, you have done an amazing job. It looks way bigger than it is. Love your colour choices. It looks like it would be really fun to live in.

I am going all-white with sheets and towels too. They match everything, I can bleach them if they need it, and I can mix sets.

I also agree with the idea that you place linens in the cupboard with a single fold facing outwards. This looks so much neater. And personally I find we only need one set on the beds/in the bathroom and one spare set. Visitors can use the spare. Saves heaps of room.

We keep spare toiletries in the bathroom (no more than one spare of most things) and spare toilet paper on a shelf in the toilet.

I haven't been "doing" the cure but this one inspired me to sort out my tv/dvd area and desk area cords. They've been on the floor in a dusty muddle forever (well, 6ish years anyway). So in the tv area we are ditching the video player (yes, past time) and I've secured the other cords to the leg of the tv table and placed the power strip on the table so the floor is nice and clear.

In the desk area, there are 8 power leads! We have now mounted the 8-outlet power strip on the back inside of the desk, and tied/taped the leads out of sight, and labelled all of the plugs. It looks amazing! And cost nothing because I used garden wire (the sort you use to train a climbing plant) and duct tape that we already had, just located it all out of sight.

Thanks! (I keep looking under the desk now, loving how clean it is!!)

My resolution for 2013 is to buy myself no new clothes. I am celebrating the sufficiency of already having enough. I am also decluttering & reducing my wardrobe. I am getting better value from my clothes (lower cost per wear). And if something wears out I will see if I can get by without it, or get a used item. So far so good (yes I know it's only January!).

I have also cancelled all junk mail/catalogues, and my one magazine subscription.

Thanks for the motivational post :)

My new years resolution for 2013 is to buy no new clothes. I don't have any more than most people, but I'm going to declutter them some more (have done a lot in 2012) and at the end of the year I am going to have more space in my wardrobe, a better value wardrobe (lower cost per wear) and will have helped the environment.

If anything actually does wear out during the year that must be replaced I will get it from an op shop/secondhand.

Instead of buying them on the kindle, why not add them to your kindle wishlist? That way you know they are there and that you can buy them on kindle if you do want to reread them :)

I think there are services that convert VHS to DVD if you don't have a video player.

I find it helps to remember I am not running a museum, either of my own life or anyone else's. Memories are in the mind. If I want "just" the memory I take a photo of the item and let the item go. I've decluttered quite a bit lately, and loving it, but I'm still a work in progress.

Certainly unwanted gifts should be given away (tiedye DC), the giver will receive good karma by default for their unwitting charity :) so don't feel guilty.
