That was our big project for the CURE, so we are almost there! Need to spot paint, and clean the blinds and curtains. And decide whether to clean the quilt I made that is on the bed (which is predominantly white--what was I thinking????) and is already falling apart, or purchase a new coverlet type thing... I haven't even started the kitchen...we used this weekend to rearrange the bedroom and office, etc. My 10 week pregnant belly has me exhausted and nauseous and I think I am going to wait for some willing grandparents to be in town to watch my energetic 2 year old while I do the kitchen. I read the link about a well organized kitchen, and finally realized that the problem I am having is that my baking spices and dry goods are on the other side of the stove, away from my stand mixer and bowls and measuring spoons. We have a small kitchen, so I'm not sure how I am going to fix that, but it would make it easier to cook and bake, especially with my two year old daughter's "assistance." :-) Day 8: Weekend Chores - Flowers, Kitchen Cleaning & Make Yourself a Meal Apartment Therapy January Cure |
