Oh boy. Definitely going though that. My apartment is being purged. On average, I have a box a week. But now its getting down to the stuff I would like to hang on to but we just don't have the room. Sorting through priorities in one's life I guess. My block is dealing with a giant box of papers I need to dispose, shred or file. I'm afraid to file. Afraid of organizing the papers wrong I guess. And I know it leads to a greater peace to important doc filing and even financial peace.
And yes, I have to face my parent's basement too. My childhood bedroom is there. The last time I attempted to sit down and go through stuff was before I was married. I panicked and physically shook with the thought of letting go of things. Hummm, three years later I keep thinking, need to get back there so I can free up the space for my poor parents.
