Hello Juan Pedro,
I am so inspired by your story and your beautifully designed space. My daughter is exactly where you were when you embarked on your project: she's 25, about to close on her first condo, 685 sf, tiny budget, and love of the same pieces and style you have put together. I hope her home turns out as well as yours. You have my vote!

It is interesting to read about the strategy behind the new RH stores! I hope I'm on their mailing list for a new catalog. I have lots of Restoration Hardware in my home and it has held up extremely well. Now I am in transition, downsizing to a new home and will soon need new furniture. I would love to hear reviews of RH furniture from fellow AT readers!

Congratulations, Maxwell, Oliver, and everyone at AT and The Kitchn! Your words above were an enjoyable read, and ring true as far as what you have accomplished. You are indeed a source for authenticity in all the areas you reach! When I first came across your site, I thought perhaps I was older than your target demographic ( I was in my late 40s at the time) but so much of AT is relevant even to this suburban homeowner! And, as we think about downsizing I am so inspired by what I can do in a smaller space. The Kitchn is my go to site for everything, well, in the kitchen! Love the back stories, photos, and all the recipes. Thank you for providing an approachable site for all of us who are not interior designers and professional cooks, and for those who are as well! Wishing you continued success!

Love this idea! If I substitute seeds, are there "perfect marriages" of flavors that work well together? For instance, if I use fennel seeds, is there something that goes particularly well with those? Thanks!

@krs I think I know what you mean. I used a toothpick with a bit of paper towel to get to those tiny places in my SubZero. Maybe that will work for you, too. Hope that helps!

Also, I place a kitchen towel or bar mop towel in the bottom of each of my veggie drawers to help make clean-up easy.

Wow, lots of great tips here! I have white porcelain tile in my kitchen with white grout (what was I thinking?!!). Luckily we are pretty neat so it hasn't been difficult to maintain. Every once in a long while I mix a little Oxiclean with some water (not a paste, just oxi-water!) and use an old electric toothbrush to go over the grout lines. I wet the floor, let it sit maybe 5 minutes, then hit it with the toothbrush. Magical! I never thought to seal it, so maybe next time I'll follow up with that. Once sealed, will the grout lines stay white?

This recipe is a winner! I made it this weekend on a cold, snowy day and it was so satisfying and delicious! The only substitution I made was walnuts as I couldn't find hazelnuts. I toasted the walnuts and was very pleased with the results. Thank you to The Kitchn for a wonderful vegetarian recipe!

Great idea to mix the lime juice with the oil! I have my own mister so can make my own combination to spray on the chips. I like the idea of cutting down on the salt, too! Thanks for the tips!

I love to make baked tortilla chips, especially with grape seed oil. Does anyone know the best way to make chips with a hint of lime flavor? Is it to simply just squeeze some fresh lime juice on the tortillas before baking?! Thanks for the recipe and photos!
