I wouldn't shop there because of the name; that may be stupid, but still.... Though I am male, I'm probably not in their demographic anyway.

I think it's on the verge of collapsing. You don't need to be able to read a load diagram to see that there's an awful lot of weight heading straight down the center without any support but a weak, thin piece of plywood.

It's great, but as someone who lives with an open kitchen, I've come to notice how the sounds and scents of a kitchen aren't always something you want in a living room.

The Pantone branding thing is getting a bit oversaturated, no pun intended.

The relationship between trust in others and self-sufficiency is so interwoven - I've noticed that the people whom I think are the most self-reliant are those who place the most trust in others.

Oh no, here we go again with the bring-your-candles-to-the-hotel advice. I believe the consensus is and has always been that you shalt not due to pretty reasonable rules of almost every hotel. That is, do not burn things in the room. Perhaps a diffuser? Although I'm not sure I'd want everyone to do this. One person's home scent is another's lingering vanilla-scented Pier One hell.

If they're structural, which seems to be the reason they can't be removed, you could replace them with structural columns. Otherwise, while they are kind of strange they *do* let light through and the space is probably better off with them. Could you take the panes out and just have the openings? That would allow light and a bit more air circulation as well. From what I can see, I'd replace the tile there first though.

Great place. The view into the bedroom is fantastic. You should have moved the boxes in the last photo though.
