I agree with this basic idea & with the comments that encourage people to adapt it to their own needs. We live in a 3000 sq ft home,with 53 windows, (so of course ican't do them all in 20 minutes) and a 28 foot X9 foot high bookcase, 3 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens and dining rooms. But this list is just an example. I used to clean for 2 - 3 hours a day,now I am able to see that the house can look just as nice with a bit less time, just restructuring the tasks and the list. Ps. Small kids LOVE having their own chores. My son had the " job" of mopping the kitchen floor once a week at age 3, and he had his own little blue & red bucket, and loved it. He felt proud of being able to be responsible for something. He is now married and regularly helps out with cleaning.
