My other half and I recently acquired a storage unit before we moved, as we knew we wanted to be out of our old place by a certain time and were unsure that we would have a new place lined up in time. As it turns out or new place has lots of small storage spaces, but not a lot of bigs ones. Thus items like his basses and amps, my canvases, and some odd but really awesome furniture we don't want to get rid of now have a home until we have a place with us for them. We used to do something similar with my old neighbors. Except it was wine and cheese night. We'd all gather together at someone's house and each bring a beverage and cheese or another snack. Then it was chat and story time. I used to look forward to those nights. A Small, Quiet, Radical Gathering, with Tea Weekend Meditation |

Made this for dinner tonight. Used a lemon infused olive oil that punctuated the lemon zest and juice wonderfully. The ricotta mixture was a little lackluster in flavor, but adding some crisp prosciutto would balance the favor out. Also, some extra pine nuts (or your nut of choice) breaks up the "mushy veggies" as my other half like to call them. Overall, this went over quite well for dinner and we plan on having it again. I love this post and the message behind it (minus the tacky acronym part—going with someone's suggestion above not to use the phrase in 2013.) I've been renting for 10 years and when I pick out my own place I actually get it looking really great and having a wonderful space. However, this last year I had to move in with the other half in his current flat that is way too small for the number of us that live here. Any advice on how to clean up and maintain a shared rental with a bunch of roommates that do not respect the space? I'm tired of feeling like I live with a bunch of college guys. Thanks!
