During my tidying I have rediscovered lamps that have been put away in cupboards/stored on units - I am going to use them ! I love the idea of the dimmer, something for the shopping list - my DH is loving the Cure and is downsizing the number of gadgets he has (which I am loving), and has even decided to tackle the wire issue around the TV/harddrive and the stereo/sound system. This will make me very happy - it is a no go area for me.
I have started selling some items from the Outbox on Ebay - it is a good incentive for me to keep filling the box. The proceeds are for a 'Reward' weekend away with my husband. :)

Will there be a Cure later on in the year to help and guide us to blitz our homes again?

Blitzed my clothes and cosmetics/smellies this Summer (very theraputic), but under the bed storage and my jewelry need a sort out. Will be decorating bedroom this year, so a sort out will stand me in good stead. My outbox is scaring me, I can't beleive I own such junk !

I also check my medicine cabinet this time of year and dispose of any out of date items - I hand them into the Pharmacy for disposal.

I love these assignments - I am in the UK and get the email in the afternoon - I have done a deep clean on my home before - many years ago - and the clutter that surfaced was frightening. I started decluttering again last june and Ebaying/Freecycle/Charity Shop - ing the items, but the outbox pile grows the more I rummage around the house !
The January Cure is a succinct way to focus the chaos of sorting and cleaning and making me focus on the task in hand and not get distracted - Easily done :)
