So I already have several places in my apartment where stuff is that I know I either need to get rid of or store. But putting it all in one place. That's an idea. I guess my fear was always if I put stuff in the closet it's out of sight, out of mind. But if I am consciously making this my outbox, well I think I could do that.

Oh my goodness. This is so exciting guys. I have been reading this blog for about four years but just registered so I can comment here. I am one day behind but it's progress not perfection.
inspired by others, I am pasting my list. I found it easier to not care about wording and just right straight from the heart.
January decluttering
• Bedroom

o new sheets
o better hamper
o fix closet
o get rid of dresser or find a better use for it
o get rid if plastic containers
o go through shoes
o paint walls
o more art
o pretty rug
o change bulb in salt lamp
o fix ceieling light
• Living Room

o get rid of desk/drawers
o new bookshelves
o go through books
o asian cabinet for electronics
o move keyboard
o make my files easily accessible and easier to use
o better way to diplay rocks
o move closet door back into bedroom
o put up art/mirrors
o paint room
o new rug
o go through closet
o clean coffee table properly (find out how)
o new couch
o clean under couch
• Kitchen

o more art
o go through kitchen supplies (get new stuff)
o get rid of clutter
o create art/desk workspace here or in living room
o make cupboards less ugly
o better silverware storage
o use space on top of fridge

• Bathroom

o new shower curtain
o better makeup storage or just more
o properly clean tiles?
• Hallway

o more art
o a little table for keys and stuff
o less clutter
o mirrors
