The dungeon slowly empties bit by bit everyday. As well, the 4" wide denim strip in now 100' long. Tuesday (Day20) I will finally - after 12 years - weave the willow chair seat. The result? My January Cure project will be finished. And one lovely chair will grace my porch. Take that Procrastination Queen! I thought that I had a lot of books - over 2,000 but I see by some of the comments that I am right in there with the majority. I, too, decided that decluttering this many books is a bigger project than for one day. So I decluttered my recycling area instead. Very satisfying and no fear of procrastinating. I may be the only one who is NOT going to have a get-together. Why? Because my January cure is being applied to my dungeon - whoops, I mean basement and while I will get one project on my list finished by the 31st, there is no way and I mean NO WAY, my basement be available for any kind of viewing. It's embarrassing enough to have posted my before pictures on the blog that I'm writing for one year, but I don't want anyone to see the diminishing mess and think I haven't even started. Congratulations to you if your goal has been achieved, I have a long way to go. I successfully converted two small outboxes into eight Ziploc bags organized by type of jewellery - to give away. This cleared up 2 sq ft. 2 down 1,158 to go! For those of you who can't comprehend the significance of this achievement, consider that I am in a fight to the death with the Queen of Procrastination - those two boxes were there for over a year.
