I think I've smelled more smelly people than animals, truly. A hot summer day, subway,no one told you your deodorant gave up, booze breath and cigarette smell clinging to your clothes. Yeah, I rather live with my pet in my small space. Tips for Living in a Small Space with Pets (aka: Don't Be the \"Smelly House Friend\") |

Kudos for everyone who takes great care of their pets. Not bathing them, not cleaning out their boxes, etc. is just plain abuse. Animals don't like to be in their own uncleanness, would you? I tell you, for everyone who complains about those who have pets, I can go in your homes and smell odors too, especially dirty laundry. You can still not have pets and have a smelly house. Just saying. Tips for Living in a Small Space with Pets (aka: Don't Be the \"Smelly House Friend\") |

If you gutted this house and made it look this fabulous, I know you could build the lift-up bed. I think the schematics for it is on the net. Btw, you got my vote! Good luck HaleighJ! Haleigh's A-Frame Cottage Small Cool Contest |

I love your home. My husband and I lived in a 535 sq ft 5th wheel full-time for quite a while traveling so I'm used to small spaces. Do you use storage under your bed? We had a queen-size bed that raised up from the foot end. There's an unbelievable amount of storage there. I used it for linens, out of season clothes, dry goods and emergency supplies. Congratulations on a job well-done! Haleigh's A-Frame Cottage Small Cool Contest |

Okay I bit the big bullet - pulling out ALL clothes I have not worn in a year, yes all of them. They have found a new home and my small closet looks amazing - only my favorite clothes I can actually fit into! I feel so free and relieved. I have no idea why that is so hard. Now I'm ready for the next step. Day 2: Set Up Your Outbox Apartment Therapy January Cure |
