I use feline pine as as well, it has the least tracking of everyone I've used, and the best thing is it naturally really kills cat pee smell naturally because of the pine. The best thing I've done Pugh to kill the last bit of tracking is actually switch from an open top litter box to a plastic dish pan... I have a small floor space in a bottom built in shelf in my bathroom where our litter box goes, and so because of its precise measurements can't have a litter box with a roof/hood, so a dish pan is essentially the same product as a letterbox but with walls that are a couple inches higher so they don't kick any litter out. Works great!

I agree with fuzzyegg, just paint the walls! It IS a non permanent change! If your landlord has a problem with the (much needed) improvement you can offer to repain them brown when you move, but I guarantee that will not happen.
