First, I have to find my apartment! So my list, for every room, is going to start with actually, finally getting rid of stuff I don't need. Although I'm sure this will be covered later, I'm thinking of all the places I can donate things. Let's see, those used margarine tubs? My church needs them to put leftovers in after a covered dish, for folks to take home. Used books? Our public library needs them for their annual book sale - hey, they got a new computer & printer for the Children's Room last year with the proceeds! Those bath and shower gels I got just way too much of on that home shopping channel? The local women's shelter is always needing toiletries.
