I'm a big fan of the down-filled baby sleepsacks made by The Blue Monkey Baby Emporium. They are GREAT for babies, keeps them nice-and-cozy at night, and there's no need for what can be "dangerous" blankets. Also, you can use it when you take your baby for a walk in her/his stroller. There's a local (Vancouver) company that makes high quality down-filled baby sleepsacks -- www.BlueMonkeyBaby.com. They are a bit pricey, but if you work it out, it works out to pennies per night (or less), since they are made to last through multiple siblings. They are also really beautiful. They work like a charm and your baby can sleep in them most nights during the year as they will keep your baby warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
