eliz - as a frequenter of said home, I can tell you that the advantage of that couch in that spot is that it serves as the perfect window bench for the window next to it. It lets in the perfect amount of both light and breeze...making it one of my absolute favorite places to be. It has taken over as my Couch-home, which may mean little to anyone else, but is a critical rejuvenator for all energies.
