When I was 16 my family moved from GA to MD with a very reputable moving company. Three days after the full packing of our house, while my family was living in a hotel in MD waiting to move into our next house, the moving company contacted my father to inform him that our moving truck had been stolen. To this day we have never seen any items recovered from that truck. We moved into our new house with nothing more than the clothes we had packed for our week long hotel stay between houses. Due to federal laws on interstate commerce we were not able to sue the moving company. Luckily our homeowners insurance was willing to pick up the tab. I hope your experience turns out better than ours.
