I haven't seen any of these movies... I always wait until I get them on DVD at the rental store as pre-viewed for about $5.00...
I re-read that what I wrote...

Although home decor trends seems to come and go, I have a definite home decor style in mind. I am going with white furniture (already bought white couches) and going with a bold color for the accent wall and the rest of the walls will be a creamy yellow. I love red so that's the kitchen colors (white and red)
I seem to be in the trend without even trying!

You got rid of half the chairs! Looks better with only two instead of four "rungs"
I love the look of benches but I find them hard to get in and get out, unless I am the last one in!

You say the table gets cold? Then it's a great place to roll pie crusts! It does look a whole lot better than the red walled before photo.

I wish pinterest could actually have a feature of not seeing a particular subject. When I hit Everything or just the Pinterest home page, there's a whole bunch of clothes pins by the same pinner. I didn't know there were so many black dresses until I joined Pinterest!

I like polka dots but on a small scale like a pillow not a whole wall. The first picture with the green stairs... oh my, mind boggling!

I particularly do not like open-back chairs, they look unfinished, and feel weird if you lay back on them. But I love the scroll wood at the foot of the bed!

I like the idea of a separate bedroom area, but it's still visible to the rest of the home, I would have invested in a Murphy bed, a bed that folds up in the wall.
The book shelf near the bed is fine, but the one near the fireplace is messy looking and almost looks unfinished, almost like you ran out of wood.

I don't see anything wrong with the edge, it's very beautiful, except that now you can't say it's a butcher block. It's now too fancy.

The staircase is really pretty, but as a cleaner's point of view, I certainly do not want to dust all those crevices in the detailing! That'll take hours.
