You say the table gets cold? Then it's a great place to roll pie crusts! It does look a whole lot better than the red walled before photo.

I like polka dots but on a small scale like a pillow not a whole wall. The first picture with the green stairs... oh my, mind boggling!

I like the idea of a separate bedroom area, but it's still visible to the rest of the home, I would have invested in a Murphy bed, a bed that folds up in the wall.
The book shelf near the bed is fine, but the one near the fireplace is messy looking and almost looks unfinished, almost like you ran out of wood.

The staircase is really pretty, but as a cleaner's point of view, I certainly do not want to dust all those crevices in the detailing! That'll take hours.
