As a recently converted vegan (2 months!), I thank you all deeply for the post and comments.

I've never been big on cooking, especially on weekdays, so I'm really working to change the habits. Tasty recipes definitely make it easier.

I was looking for something similar to table #2 for my living room. Anyone knows a US alternative? I remember seeing something like it in a recent tour.

I live in a studio and, even though it's quite roomy, it is not divided. I do not like room dividers at all so I'm mostly creating a sense of division with a low dresser, small bookcase and rugs. It's almost there!

It all depends on the space available, of course. Some places get down right claustrophobic. Unless you're a fresh out of college, a loft bed looks a bit depressing to me.

Being a graphic designer, I want to hang my own illustrations so this post is quite useful for me.

If I had to buy artwork, I'd probably get it before the frames, though. As others have noted, you'll be constrained by the frame sizes.

Does anyone know of any corner shelving?

My bathroom has a corner glass shelf but I would like to get more out of that space, perhaps a piece that has two levels.

@Parnassus try Overstock.com you can get decent wool rugs for good prices.

I bought one for about $170 recently that's 3/4 inch thick with a nice geometrical line pattern. Feels comfy under my feet.

Oh, the original AT article would be useful to change the fabric of my office chair, which I do not like thought the chair it's comfortable. It was inexpensive so I won't cry if I mess it up. Now to hunt for some fabrics!

Very useful. I'm going through the same thing EXCEPT that I'm still pending approval of the new apartment so I'm not sure about move in date. If I'm not approved for this apartment I'm basically screwed!

I already did a quick clean up of my closet and gave a lot of stuff away. I should start going through the other things but it's difficult to pack with the fingers crossed.
