My first thoughts were about the number of wipes used as well. I count 8 wipes in 5 minutes. Times a couple of bathrooms / household / week - ugh! And as far as I know, wipes aren't allowed in the greenbin. I manage to clean my bathroom with 2 half size paper towels (along with reusable cloths and brushes), and even that gets me in the environmental gut. At least paper towels can go in the greenbin.

Any thoughts on using tung oil? I hear that's really great to use on teak. Is there a difference?

Also, how often should one oil one's MCM teak furniture? How frequent is "frequent"?

This is an 'aha!' moment for me. Although I'm a visual thinker (having a formal education in design) I don't find that I associate colour with certain objects. I have always however felt that numbers and letters have personalities. And today I realize that I must have the Ordinal Linguistic Personification version of synesthesia. Incredible. I've always wondered if it was a creative way of thinking or if others felt this as well. Apparently so.

As a Canadian, and a huge fan of Canadian design shows, it's nice to see I am in good company.

Besides Design Inc. and Sarah's House (seasons 1 and 2), I too love Home to Stay and Home to Flip (Peter Fallico's latest series). Pure Design and Style Dept are also quite good. And of course Cityline's Home Day (Thursdays). Here's a link to their Home & Garden resources.
