This is actually might be a good idea for those who don't have kids but might have to host them for a weekend. My grandma didn't have that many toys around when she watched me on the odd weekend. I usually brought stuff, but if families are flying in they might not have the space for toys (especially with baggage fees). I can see it working for vacation houses or stays with aunts/uncles that are child-free.

Popovers make me think of the Muppet version of the Frog Prince.

Awww, this is hilarious. In many ways impractical, but I love it as a weird, conceptual piece. I'm sure she had fun making it. Something tells me this girl is a designer-in-training, because we made things this wacky when I was in design school.

my roommate got this Crosley as a birthday gift: http://www.amazon.com/Crosley-CR6016A-BL-Spinnerette-USB-Turntable/dp/B005W0UV2K

I do not recommend it. The speaker is awful and tinny, really noticeably bad especially for songs with a lot of bass. The point of vinyl is the better sound, but this one does not deliver.

As someone in the creative industry, Apple is pretty much the only thing we use. Also: Peggy wouldn't touch Prezi with a ten-foot pole (standard is usually Keynote, sometimes powerpoint if clients are windows exclusive). She'd probably be getting an intern to build something using various adobe programs.

I like these overall, except Don's feels a bit off. Maybe have Siri or voice record open on an iphone, since Don likes to record his thoughts? Also: add someone from the art department using a syntec tablet.

Agreed, I was actually pretty shocked at the comments on the original post. I know giving up a pet can be hard, but for some people allergies are unbearable. Some of the comments seemed downright rude, honestly.

I aspire to be what the Eames were. After seeing a few documentaries showing their studio and home, I just want to be like them!

This chair is so pretty.
