I live in Trinidad & Tobago (Caribbean) and here it is a crime against nature to send a mango see (pit) to the trash without having sucked every single drop of mango pulp and juice from it. You are likely to be loudly chastised for wasting mango if you do that. Why I Secretly Suck on Mango Pits in the Kitchen (And So Should You) |

I seriously love Museli for breakfast or an after dinner snack. I'm munching in the last of the most recent batch made by my husband right now. We make our own but throw it in the oven for 5 minutes when making the batch to enhance the flavour of the nuts and seeds we add to it. We add dried fruit to ours so that its more appealing to our kids. A Break From Granola: Why Muesli Rules |

I completely agree. It would be lovely to have these top-of-the-line items but the plates are routinely licked clean at my house even though I have none of the fancy items. My Uncool Kitchen Tool: A Not-As-Good-As-Le-Creuset Dutch Oven |

I would love some healthy breakfast options. We seems stuck in a rut where we are either eating cereal, sausage or eggs for breakfast which I very boring. Meals that can be prepared ahead of time would be great to save time on mornings. Welcome to Breakfast Week at The Kitchn! 3 Square Meals (Plus Dessert) |

Honestly I don't have anything top-of-the-line in my kitchen. I just can't afford it. My prized possession is actually my Cuisinart dutch oven that has recently taken a beating. But I am proud of all that I own and I do churn out meals and treats daily that my family is quite happy to eat. Maybe someday I will get that Kitcheaid stand mixer or an Allclad pot set, till then I am making what I have work. My Uncool Kitchen Tool: A Not-As-Good-As-Le-Creuset Dutch Oven |

Before this post I am afraid I had never given it much thought but now that you say it I would love to have friends and family over to my house for birthday party.
