Very elegant and the simplicity has a calming effect :) My mom and I both lost a lot in Hurricane Sandy, but she lost everything. I would love to give these to her as a "fresh start" with a new china set. I already found nice silverware for a good price, so at least we are rebuilding little by little, dish by dish, utensil by utensil....it's the little things :)
