I have a MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone so I use Paprika (http://www.paprikaapp.com/). It's super powerful, syncs data between devices, and even let's me choose what I'm going to eat on what days. From there I can make a grocery list so I know exactly what I need when I go to the store. Awesome app.
