I would love it the iPhone homescreen could be configured like the S3 by using launchers. I currently have an S3 (bought it in Feb 2013), but I keep carrying around my itouch because I can't listen to my iTunes music. That is my one big complaint about the S3, others are: horrible visibility under the sun, apps, app/internet crashes, keyboard and spell check (takes me 5 min to write a message).

I just ate a mango this morning. My dad brought some back from a friend's house, we have a mango tree at home but the mangoes aren't ready yet (until june). But the mangoes he brought were so sweet and juicy. The pit is my favourite part. I'm actually surprised people don't eat the pit or find it weird. The only thing I don't like about it is the mango strings in between my teeth, so I always floss

Another chef's treat is licking the spatula after making brownies, cookies, cake, etc..

Is that app available for Android? If so, what's the name please. = )

On a separate note, I don't understand how our country (US) is supposed to be all powerful and mighty and highly advanced and yet we are so far behind than many developed countries. I don't want to sound cynical and pessimistic and like one of those anti-gov persons, but I personally feel that our politicians are to blame. Shame

I agree with Amy, it's chevron not herringbone. Herringbone has a zig zag line going on

I think my friends would think it weird if I sent them thank you notes for coming over and so would I. I don't send thank you notes for after a dinner party, like some previously mentioned, that is what the hostess/host gift is for, I do attach a little not though to the gift.

If I stay over at someone's house for the weekend/week/what have you, I leave a thank you note along with a gift. Also when I receive a gift by mail. I wouldn't send one if the giver is present, how about just saying thank you since you already have them in front of you. Crazy though eh?

I would also send thank you notes for a wedding gifts, although my plan is to ask for charitable contributions (to charities obvi) or no gifts at all.

I was beginning to think I was the only one. I'm in my early-mid 20s, still in college and I find it so hard to make friends. From my high school friends, I'm only friends with one. She's a really great friend. We had this little group we would hang out with but I would call them my friends, for the purposes of telling people who I was with but I never thought of them as my friends. I guess I'm the kind of person that I can tell when people are genuine or fake right off the bat (99% of the time I'm right), so if I don't feel comfortable with people or their lifestyle/personality/what have you don't fit with mine then I just keep them as acquaintances.

So, my friend got a bf a couple of years ago and that's when we started hanging out a bit less. She invites me out with her bf but I don't want to be the third wheel or she invites me out with her bf and his friends, but I've never gone out with them because the first time we did his friends (a couple) didn't even speak to us, not one word. So, I doubt the rest of his friends are like that, but the thought of everyone knowing each other except for me makes me uncomfortable.

In Aug of 2012 I left to FIT in NY (returned to Miami in dec. for the moment) and I didn't find it hard to make friends. My cousin's ex told me to contact his new gf in NY and we started hanging out quite often with her friends, but sadly I left NY bc I didn't like the program at FIT. I do miss those girls because they are exactly the kind of friends I would have.

Now I'm back in Miami, attending FIU in the IR program. Nobody seems to want to make friends with anybody. The only two people I consider my bffs (my cousin and a childhood friend) live in Gainsville and N. Carolina. I honestly don't have any requirements for friends, except that they have to be respectful (but I expect that from anybody) and no drugs or funny business, at least not when I'm around, and were are good. I guess as you grow older is harder to make friends, for some of us.

There's this house called "the garden house" on gloucester street in South Kensignton, London that I fell in love with. I'm waiting for the day to be able to offer the current owners double what they paid to buy that house. A girl can dream, non? =)

Can someone please explain what the point of remodelling rentals is? My roommates and I have passed on rentals because we hate the kitchen, the bathroom, or whatnot and when someone suggests to remodel, we're like what's the point if it's not ours? What incentives are there for the lessee?

For some reason I though there was a law against misleading products. Guess I was wrong. Somebody in my Intro to International Relations class a couple of days ago said something about states (nations), governments and people always promoting but never ensuring our human rights. And I think what that person said applies to not only human rights, but the environment and our food among other things. Too bad our planet is run by capitalist societies.

I actually like both. I lived in Miami for most of my life, then I moved to NYC, then back to Miami. I'm planning to move back to either LA or NY once I finish uni. Anyway, public transportation in South Florida SUCKS! I have to wake up at 6:30 am to get to my 9am class on time. I have to take two buses, the second one which is ALWAYS late, so I get to school literally 10 min before class. My last class ends at 12 and I get home at 2:30 taking the bus. In Miami a car is your life, especially with Miami weather being 90 degrees in mid winter.

While in NY I loved and hated taking the subway. Its cheap (relatively) and most of the time reliable. I lived in Elmhurst and went to FIT, about 40 min train ride more or less, taking the 7 then the 1. But I hated walking to the grocery store 6-8 blocks away or running errands taking the train. And I missed being alone in my car as well, who wants to be in a subway train looks like it's about to vomit people.

I would love to live in either NY, London, or LA (depending where I get a job) but I feel like those cities are just either/or when it comes to transportation. Ideally I would prefer somewhere where I could take pub transp., use my bike, take a cab (too expensive anywhere, especially Miami), or drive my own car when I choose to (owning a car in NY it's too expensive), or walk as well.
