If you can mount your current TV to the opposite wall than where its stationed now, you could watch it through the serving window in the kitchen. This space oddly seems like a dining area too.

Beautiful home! I love the rug!

The color is beautiful, but I fear it would be too distracting to do anything in those rooms! the way you decorate around it makes it pop out even more!

If you're going to share a bedroom, which I recommend not doing (been there), do not put anything besides whatever you need for sleep in it. The more time both of you spend in that room, the more alienated you will feel from one another in your daily routine. Sounds strange, right? I shared a bedroom with a close friend and we both did everything in our beds, including any computer work. It really put a strain on our friendship. The sex part was no issue, because respecting each other's privacy is the easy part.

Do yourselves a favor and keep your bedroom for sex and sleep only. If you need more privacy, put up a dividing curtain in the space and keep intimate lighting around your bed. That way you will feel like you have your own space.

Glass everything is best for keeping food. While finding alternatives to plastic is AWESOME, I don't want to do it on the backs of our bee friends. I might be okay with it if the wax came from a responsible heritage bee farmer. Unless we want to hand pollenate all of our plants, we should boycott Monsanto and leave the bees alone.

The posts at apartment therapy lately seem like they haven't been looked over enough to fix gramatical and some mis-typing issues.

There's so much personality in this space. It feels like someone actually lives here, which many apartment therapy tours fail to communicate.

Certainly a nice space! I was trying to figure out what exactly was bugging me about this house tour and I realized the photography doesn't capture the space well. Could be because of lenses vs space issues, but overall the photography either focuses on the wrong things or takes on a heavy documentary feel, which is overwhelming in a space with a lot of right angles and bright color pushed together.
