In addition to the wall mounted up light sconce and the wall mounted fan and a mirror along the foot end of the bed I would suggest mosquito netting or gauze curtain to hide the spindles of the railing. In addition to monochromatic bedding I would add funky luxurious pillows in a rich fabric to give it a posher more retreat feel. If you have the space two small covered baskets would give you side tables with storage to add an alarm clock, or two small reading lamps or both.
