Our house burnt almost to the ground last June. I've had exactly the same reactions to my "things". As we are getting ready to move into our "new" house, we have chosen only to purchase items with pure meaning and pure purpose. We have chosen some artwork and a few decorative items, but they are mostly special things we have found along the way or constructed ourselves. I'm excited to feel the change when we re-enter the space. Your home is an inspiration!
