I lived in a teeny tiny studio, and the (covered) litter box was at the foot of my bed (it was really the only place it could go, I swear). After trying a few different brands, I ended up being really happy with Fresh Step scoopable. My sister requests this as her cake every year ... we make a big "E"! The stacks look adorable, but the purpose of slathering the whole thing in whipped cream is that the wafers absorb some of the moisture from the cream, making them soften to a cake-like texture, while simultaneously making the whipped cream thicker. I think they're gorgeous, and go well with the colors you describe! It's your place, though, not mine, so to answer your question: I'd buy some textiles like repurposed placemats or a nice table runner to cover them up. If you want to completely cover them, what about removable veneer or one of those vinyl treatments that you can peel off when you move? I wish the wall with that gorgeous mirror on it was one color ... everything is lost against that wallpaper! It's a gorgeous wallpaper, but one wall with that mosaic treatment would have been enough. It feels a bit claustrophobic. Before & After: Matthew Patrick Smyth at Designer Visions |

I just adore this apartment. It manages to be so bright and clean without being stark and cold. Just wonderful! Sarah's Sunny Dublin Delight House Tour |
