I've been eating 1 banana a day for years. I know they have sugar but didn't expect they would rank so high for sugar crash. Also surprised that white and brown rice is ranked worst than white/brown pasta.

I really love your kitchen wall color. Wished that you had remembered what it is.

I like it. The whole set up reminds me of a really cool coffee shop. Love the chandelier also.

I've made homemade crackers and they are great. I used the recipe in Peter Reinhart's Artisan Bread Every Day.

I always do No 1 and 7. Even when I only cook a simple meal, having a garbage bowl makes a huge difference in staying organized.

This is funny. I'm also not the dishwasher in the house but I do follow up every time. I made sure everything is stacked on the drying rack. There is always some soap left in the sponge so I use it to wipe down the counter, the stove, and then finally, wipe down the sides of the sink and the sink itself. There is usually some food remains in the sink - little bread crumbs, salad pieces. If I don't wipe it down it will dry and stick the next day.

If it's just bruised I eat it. If there's mold, I usually cut out the moldy part and a bit more around it and I would still eat the rest. Unless if the whole thing really smells moldy, but it's usually not the case. I've never gotten sick from doing this either.

I saw a recipe for homemade almond milk a while back but it doesn't seem to be cheaper than store-bought, so I decided not to make it. Will definitely try this oats milk. Thanks!

This is a beautiful space. I've lived in a 500 sq feet apartment but your place looks so much bigger. Excellent job styling it!

I second the ganache suggestion. You can freeze them as is or make some into truffles. It's really fun. Add some grand marnier to a small batch of ganache and you get orange liquor truffles. YUM!
