I love that pendant, too! I love black and white rugs, I am jonesing a zigzag rug from urban outfitters for my kitchen but love the idea of a black and white striped rug in an adjacent, or even the same, room.

I make my own to experience flavors that are too expensive at the store. There is a gelato shop in my town that sells delicious pistachio ice cream but for about $5 for 3 scoops, I learned how to make my own to satisfy my cravings.

While I was pregnant with my second child, I ate ice cream every night. Now that she is six months I have learned how to make my own and some of my all time favorites are pistachio ice cream and chocolate ice cream with a white chocolate marble. Although I am still experimenting with more flavors so my favorites list may grow!

I am similar to you, I always adore cozy spaces but have yet to make cozy work for me. I always feel like too much is laying around but when everything is put away, it feels bare. I really like the hand print and letters. The frame is really clever, too! I made a free flag banner using paint chips for my kids room. http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2012/12/diy-paint-chip-flags.html My daughter loves pointing out the colors of it (although she calls every color "red").

There are some really awesome suggestions in these comments. I made a magnetic strip that took very little effort. (http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2013/01/easy-diy-magnetic-knife-strip.html) but with a little more effort and patience (that I didn't have) you could make something suggested here to be more like the Eva Solo.

It would be need to have the cool gadgets to make it more streamlined but I kept it simple and spent no money doing this.

I just bought a used Karlstad for half the price and am looking into replacing the legs. (http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2013/01/my-very-own-karlstad.html) I love these DIY legs and the tufted cushions look so good!

My bed sheets are in the dryer as I type this. They were covered in spit up, compliments of my hungry little burrito. Straightening up may be a bit challenged since my outbox is overflowing and it located in my bedroom. Looks like I will be emptying it this weekend.
