I'm excited to see what everyone shares and to be inspired by their small ones! My small home is in no way ready for any full fledged pictures!

I love that pendant, too! I love black and white rugs, I am jonesing a zigzag rug from urban outfitters for my kitchen but love the idea of a black and white striped rug in an adjacent, or even the same, room.

The strangest I've eaten has problem been black pepper ice cream. However, I have heard of squid ink ice cream and that sounds pretty out there to me.

What's The Strangest Ice Cream You've Ever Eaten?

I make my own to experience flavors that are too expensive at the store. There is a gelato shop in my town that sells delicious pistachio ice cream but for about $5 for 3 scoops, I learned how to make my own to satisfy my cravings.

While I was pregnant with my second child, I ate ice cream every night. Now that she is six months I have learned how to make my own and some of my all time favorites are pistachio ice cream and chocolate ice cream with a white chocolate marble. Although I am still experimenting with more flavors so my favorites list may grow!

My vote goes to French ice cream. It takes a bit of a learning curve and at first... go slow! I once scrambled my eggs, but since then have been patient and get perfect ice cream every time (which I share on my blog).

French vs. American Ice Cream: Which One Do You Like the Best?

I am similar to you, I always adore cozy spaces but have yet to make cozy work for me. I always feel like too much is laying around but when everything is put away, it feels bare. I am still finding what works for me but for now I am playing around with combining different patterns for a cozy effect. http://www.turningithome.com/2013/04/virtual-window-shopping-for-kitchen.html

I've refinished a veneer dresser and am so happy with it. http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2012/09/refinishing-veneer-dresser-twice.html

I actually am considering refinishing dressers that I have painted to show their natural wood again.

I really like the hand print and letters. The frame is really clever, too! I made a free flag banner using paint chips for my kids room. http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2012/12/diy-paint-chip-flags.html My daughter loves pointing out the colors of it (although she calls every color "red").

There are some really awesome suggestions in these comments. I made a magnetic strip that took very little effort. (http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2013/01/easy-diy-magnetic-knife-strip.html) but with a little more effort and patience (that I didn't have) you could make something suggested here to be more like the Eva Solo.

I am still in the middle of painting my house, so instead of hanging anything up I am taking everything down. I put together some pictures that I would love to frame and hang once I nail into my walls again. http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2013/01/put-frame-on-it.html

I used a similar method for organizing and shared about it here: http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2013/01/medicine-cabinet-makeover.html
It would be need to have the cool gadgets to make it more streamlined but I kept it simple and spent no money doing this.

My bed sheets are in the dryer as I type this. They were covered in spit up, compliments of my hungry little burrito. Straightening up may be a bit challenged since my outbox is overflowing and it located in my bedroom. Looks like I will be emptying it this weekend. To cheer me up, I bought some baby's breath from my local grocery store. I share about them here: http://turningithome.blogspot.com/2013/01/babys-breath-in-cold.html

This one is going to be a bit tough for me. My husband loves computer books. He has been tech savvy since he was 13 and has been collecting books since. Thankfully, while I was recently pregnant, I convinced him to let go of some non computer related books that he has no interest in. On top of that, when our local Borders was having liquidation sales, I bought a good amount of gardening books that I am not ready to part with. I think today I will go through outdated magazines, save the pages I want and say goodbye to the rest.
