I can also vouch for these products. They work miracles on old pieces! I also use the Feed N Wax on my new wood furniture pieces every 6 months or so just to keep them looking nice. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Great Products: Restor-A-Finish and Feed-N-Wax |

Carnations have bad associations for me...like I need to pin one to my chest for a high school homecoming dance (circa 1984). I do love cut flowers, though I tend to just buy orchids because they last longer. My favorite long-lasting cut flower is the kangaroo paw. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Top 10 Flower Varieties |

I have the Portica from Room and Board. It is not a platform (the Great Dane can fit under it if he slithers on his belly), doesn't use a boxspring, and is very easy to move. I love it. You can see it in my bedroom here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dibush/2210458967/ Apartment Therapy Chicago | CHI Good Questions: Non-Platform Modern Bed? |

I previously had a West Elm Bed, now have the Portico from Room and Board. The WE bed did actually break after 3 years, but they kindly refunded our money even after that long because it was a manufacturing defect. It was fine for a less expensive bed. My R&B bed is super quality, as is everything I have ever purchased from them. I can't say enough about their great customer service, professional delivery people, and beautiful products! (Also, I have never banged into the footboard...I agree with Wende about the visual warning being helpful.) Good Questions: Which Bed Would You Recommend? |

Hi, does anyone out there have any furniture covered with Ultrasuede? I am seriously in love with DWR's Theatre sofa in off-white ultrasuede...but I do have a cat who has on occasion thrown up on my furniture, and I love my red wine. Does it clean up as easily as they claim? Or will it become a nightmare for me? Thanks for any input! Open Thread 363 |

I have that in my house. I got it at chiasso.com several years ago. Don't know if they still carry it. Good Questions: Where Can I Find This Clock? |
