Definitely some simple suggestions here that would work - I'll be moving the mirror and the storage baskets first of all. Goodbye posters, I'd say. And a plant! Why didn't I think of that!

I'm not sure about changing the layout - I've had it every which way at this point and moving the bed to the centre isn't really that functional as the room is so small. I agree that it probably looks better that way though, and it would be easy enough to try moving it again.

@tarainsevenvalleys - that Ikea hack looks interesting, hadn't considered changing the handles before now. Cheers!
Oh - @lynnindc; it's not a skateboard, it's a (very small) violin, and I don't usually keep it there!
