I'm making fresh rolls with peanut sauce and chicken yellow curry with steamed rice. Also making chermoula eggplant with bulgur and yogurt from the Jerusalem cookbook. I got inspired by cocktail week here at the kitchn so as a weekend project I made ginger beer and grenadine.

My carrot cake always seems to impress. I even got asked to make it for a wedding. I also make a pumpkin cheesecake with salted caramel glaze on top and garnished with candied pumpkin seeds.

I just made shakshukah after reading David Lebovitz's post on it! Well I made the sauce anyways and it turned out great! Can't wait to eat it tomorrow for brunch.

My neighbor gave me a dozen eggs from the farm he works at so I will be making Shakshuka from the Jerusalem cookbook. I also made whole wheat pita bread to serve with it for Sunday Brunch. Might make some mimosas too!

I only say something if my safety is at risk....I have learned this the hard way by politely eating a neighbor's under-cooked shrimp and getting food poisoning. If it is my immediate family, I often give my advice but never at a dinner party. I try to stay out of the kitchen unless they really want help
