This is such a beautiful room. I love the toy chest, especially! But what really caught my eye was the blue plaid blanket in the first picture. I think it is the same one that my brother, then I, had when we were babies (late 60s/early 70s). We were born in England but our family moved to California when I was 2 months old.

I used a pushpin but I think skewers are a great idea.

I saw this yesterday at Safeway...plastic wrapped around each organic potato. If someone can explain the point of it, please do. In the meantime, I think I'll look elsewhere for organic potatoes that are happy in their own skin.

We had the same drapes as shown in the pic with the mom dressed in hot pink. I don't even know what they were made of...something scratchy.

We use this ebags diaper bag for our twins, in the brown color: http://www.ebags.com/ebags/bundle_baby_bag/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=105240

For short trips, we also use the Fleurville Rerun Messenger bag in Olive Lily. It is girlier, but my husband says he is secure enough in his manhood to use it: http://fleurville.com/product/rerun%E2%84%A2-messenger
