My favorite part about this room is the way the bed is off center! I like that it's different, off from the wall and on an angle. It looks inviting. Interesting that you changed pillow directions and moved the light for the photos. Either way works. It's the only twin bed I'd ever want to fall in! So thumbs up on that. We always called these "military houses" built strictly for military families. They're all over West Point New York and around several military academies. We always thought of these houses as temporary as any family could be asked to relocate- hence the minimal and practical design. But still, I think it's traditionally a ranch house. Make sure you check for bugs! Boxes left at a company or outside or in a basement, etc...there are paper mites and all sorts. So thoroughly inspect before coming home with "friends!" Yes yes and yes! I love getting into the holiday spirit. I change seasonally. I have winter spring/summer and fall decor. My shower curtain changes three times a year...my bedding changes as well.
