The Black and White pattern is something we've seen before Here, it's execution is dull and a little naive. Ms. Kee needs to look up on her pattern history. Marimekko anyone?

As for the other it looks like both bad parts of the eighties and cheap hotel graphics. definitely not successful---maybe you could dye the white fabric a navy it would work in a more subtle way.

I'm thinking You could gesso it white, then sand and paint it with a water based enamel to make it a little more easier to clean/dust.
