I take it out. But that's also because I have a salt and pepper set, and it seems weird to take out the pepper and not the salt, or leave the pepper for dessert ;)

I thought this was about whether or not you put salt on the dining table at all, if you already seasoned your food... :)

KaaFc11: What you just wrote is embarassing and offensive. I am Danish too, and I do not appreciate the notion that Danes generally think like you do! Very unclassy.

I am proud of my heritage, and am comfortable with both Swedish and Norwegian. That being said, I love making fun of both languages, because it goes both ways, and it is a standing joke among the nordic countries that we make jokes about our (relatively small) difference :)

btw - 11 out of 14 ;)

Just beautiful. The contrast between the wallpaper and white makes me think of moomins. Also, I'm surprised by all the bumper-talk. This is not a concern in Europe, what exactly is the problem? Is it if the knots are too loose and the baby can untie the bumper?

Even healthy feathers are crawling with mites. As a biologist, I would never put this on a plate ... And I stopped being afraid of germs years ago, I just own a microscope ;)

Besides that, when I see the feather lamp, I just think dust central :D even if it is beautiful.

It's clear that these cabinets needed a lot of love, which they got. So - while I personally would have chosen a look closer to the original style, I can definetly appreciate a quality rework!

Geez, Bee for Brian, I hope you understand that stuff can match without being covered in the same fabric :) That's not being anal, it's just a different way of making things work. No need to be rude, I'm happy to explain my position to you.

Cool post! But if your camera weighs just a bit, bear in mind that chain or cords will hurt your neck. I would suggest attaching the chains to the outside of a broader band instead, if you must have your metal bling :)

I kinda wish only the seats had gotten the funky fabric... it's very matchy matchy. But still a vast improvement :)

This is baffling to me; In Denmark, generally, you can do ''whatever you want'' but you have to restore the space to how it was before you rented it, sorta baseline it. currently I have some dark grey walls, coral walls, blue walls, and I just have to paint it all white, and have it accepted, before handing it over.

How does it work in USA?

Very bold and bright :) Although, the only way that tile works is because of the big windows to offset...

One of the first comments suggesting slinkies of varying sizes was spot on. That would have killed this theme I think. Maybe they could have planted the succulents in small pipes or similar? maybe short galvanized raingutters. This is just horrible.

Often, people post these real mind bogglers:
"I have a brown velour couch and all the walls in my living room are painted black - how do I cozy it up? PS I need the couch and I can't repaint"
So when I saw this post, scrolling down the main page, I thought "Geez, just shove a vase up there, people are really getting lazy..." And I click the post and see that the space in question is the same size as my bathroom. Nice cropping :)
